Carter helped the Susquehanna women's team to a third-place finish at the Dickinson Long Short Invitational, topping two regionally ranked teams in Elizabethtown and Misericordia. In the race, Carter participated in the 4K "short" race, and took 8th overall with a time of 15:40.54.
