Supported by the NCAA, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a registered student organization that provides student-athletes with the education and experiences needed to assist them in bridging the gap from college to the professional world and to encourage meaningful contributions to their communities.
Susquehanna University's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee provides a voice for student-athletes within the Susquehanna community, represents the interests of student-athletes to the administration, undertakes projects and events that benefit all members of the community and fosters a positive student-athlete image.

Role of SAAC at Susquehanna University
SAAC is a committee comprised of student-athletes from various sports brought together to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. The committee seeks:Â
- To design and implement activities that enhance student involvement at university sporting events.
- To promote Susquehanna Athletics within the campus and the Central Susquehanna Valley community.
- To actively encourage student-athletes to participate in campus and community outreach programs, fostering connections and support within Selinsgrove and beyond.
- To provide student-athletes with opportunities to effectively communicate with athletics department administration on matters affecting their overall welfare and collegiate experience.
- To offer suggestions and comments on rules, regulations and policies that impact student-athletes on Susquehanna's campus.
- To advocate for all Susquehanna student-athletes by addressing issues and sharing information at the University, Landmark Conference, and NCAA Division III levels.Â
