Colleen Supinski Auxiliary Performance Room

The Colleen Supinski Auxiliary Performance Room is a crucial piece of the Vialonga Sports Performance Center. The room is named in honor of Colleen Supinski '96, a pillar on Susquehanna University's track & field and cross country teams from 1992 through 1996, and a member of the Kappa Delta sorority. Colleen tragically lost her life on Sept. 11, 2001, in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, where she worked as an associate trader for Sandler O'Neill & Partners, L.P.

Colleen was known by her infectious laugh and continuous smile. She was a fiercely loyal friend and a competitive athlete who gave her all for the Orange and Maroon.

With the devoted support from Colleen's family, many friends, teammates and KD sisters, funds were raised to renovate the auxiliary weight room in honor of Colleen and carry on the motto she helped to create while she was captain of the women's cross country team - "Women of iron cannot be broken."

The notable group of benefactors, whose generosity made the Coleen Supinski Auxiliary Performance Room possible, demonstrates their commitment to the hard work, determination and competitive spirit that defines Susquehanna athletics.
