Cheerleading Team
Our cheerleaders bring energy, athleticism and enthusiasm to every game. Whether they're leading chants, executing impressive stunts or rallying fans, the Susquehanna Cheerleading Team is dedicated to showcasing school pride and supporting our athletic teams with unmatched passion. The squad is coached by Beth Ziegler.
 
Dance Team
With a blend of talent, artistry and precision, the Susquehanna University Dance Team adds flair and excitement to men's and women's home basketball games and special events. Their dynamic routines and innovative choreography make them a crowd favorite and a key part of the game-day experience. The dance team is captained by Emily Rose '25.
 
Stadium Band
Conducted by Brett Hosterman '06, the Susquehanna University Stadium Band provides the soundtrack to our home football games. From popular compositions to rousing fight songs, this talented ensemble sets the tone for the excitement and camaraderie throughout Doug Arthur Stadium.
 
Benny the Mascot
Our mascot, Benny the River Hawk, is the ultimate symbol of school spirit. Whether rallying fans on the sidelines or posing for photos with alumni and students, Benny brings joy, energy and pride to the Susquehanna community.
