Sophomore Chloe Yoder competed in her first ever pentathlon this weekend, as she qualified for regionals and set a new school record in the event with 2,584 points. The hurdler had never competed in many of the pentathlon events before, but still won three of the five to take first place. In the 60 meter hurdles, she registered a time of 9.45 seconds. In the high jump, she posted a lifetime best of 1.31 meters, while also winning the long jump in 4.98 seconds. She finished with 418 points in the 800 meter run after running a 2.54.46 to complete the victory.
