First-year Trystan Layton finished tied for 12th this past weekend at the 2022 Landmark Conference Championships, hosted by Goucher College. The River Hawk newcomer recorded a two-day score of 164, as he shot an 84 Friday before trimming four strokes off that to card a Round 2 tally of 80. He was named as an All-Landmark Conference Second Team honoree for his efforts, as he was lights out on Par-3 holes this weekend with a scoring average of 3.38, tied for fifth-best at the tournament. His four birdies were also tied for the fourth-most this weekend.
