Junior Attack Hunter Pitman had a hat trick in an important 4-2 comeback victory over Juniata Wednesday and also added a goal against Goucher as the Susquehanna University Field Hockey team vaulted into a tie for third place in the Landmark Conference standings.

Trailing 2-0 at the half to Juniata, Pitman took over and scored the next three goals of the game to give the team a 3-2 edge before ultimately winning, 4-2.

Pitman also scored the first goal of the game in a 3-1 victory over Goucher.

The River Hawks improved to 7-7 on the season while the team holds a 3-2 record in Landmark Conference play, and would hold a playoff spot if the season ended today.

Pitman looks to continue her stellar play this week as the team takes on Cabrini and Scranton.

Pitman has earned the River Hawk of the Week for her efforts.
