Howie continues to put together an exceptional season, having been instrumental in two key conference victories for the River Hawks last week. He began with a double-double in a home victory over Goucher, scoring 20 points and adding 10 rebounds. He then followed that up with 23 points and six rebounds on the road at Elizabethtown, making a key three-pointer in the final minute of the game to help SU hold on to a close victory. Howie has also been a menace on defense as he tallied four steals in both contests and averages 2.5 per game. He's managed 20+ points in six of his last seven games, a remarkable stretch that has helped the River Hawks go 7-1 in 2023. Currently sitting third in the Landmark and within reach of the top two, the team will continue to count on Rankine Jr. with key contests this week against Scranton and Drew.
