Susquehanna University Athletics

Freshman forward Anna Werner scored three goals in two games this week for the Susquehanna University Women’s Soccer team in Landmark Conference victories over Juniata and Goucher.

Werner scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Juniata on Wednesday, scoring in the 17^th minute on a shot from the top of the box.

She also scored twice in a 4-1 win over Goucher on Saturday, including a goal in the opening three minutes of action that sparked the team immediately.

The team is now unbeaten in its last eleven games and has improved its record to 11-1-2 Overall and 4-0-1 in the Landmark Conference.

Werner looks to continue her stellar play this week as the team takes on Gettysburg and Scranton.

She has earned River Hawk of the Week for her efforts.
