Junior running back Aaron Speight had a stellar week leading the Susquehanna University Football team to a thrilling 41-35 overtime victory over Ursinus Saturday in Collegeville.

Speight led the River Hawks in rushing with 148 yards on 22 attempts (6.7 yards per carry) including three rushing touchdowns. He also had one reception for nine yards.

His final touchdown was the game winning touchdown in overtime after the team tied the game up in the closing seconds of regulation.

The team looks to continue the success this week as they take on Gettysburg Saturday at home.

Speight has earned the Men’s River Hawk of the Week for his efforts.
