Brianna Jones (Glenwood, NJ / Pope John XXIII) won both her starts against Lebanon Valley and Stevenson Thursday to improve to 7-1 on the year. Against the Flying Dutchmen on the road, Jones surrendered two earned runs off seven hits in a full seven innings of work, posting three strikeouts. Behind 1-0 in the sixth, Jones helped her own cause by getting on base off an error and stealing second, leading to a game-tying RBI double that started a three-run inning towards the victory. Against the Mustangs Thursday, she gave up only one earned run off six hits with one strikeout and a pair of walks. When the Mustangs loaded the bases with one out in the seventh, Jones retired the next two batters on a foul popout at third and a flyout to center.
