Dylan Heyduk (West Chester, PA West Chester East) played an important role in the River Hawks three-game Landmark sweep against Juniata over the weekend. In the first game of the doubleheader on Friday, he delivered a three-run homer in the fourth inning to break the game open at 5-0. Later in the seventh inning, he tacked on an RBI single to take a 10-4 lead. In game two, he delivered an RBI single to spark a six-run sixth inning for a 13-6 win. In the third game on Sunday, he managed to tie the game in the ninth inning with an RBI single after the River Hawks were trailing 8-7, then topped it off with a game-winning run on a walk off fielder’s choice for a final score of 9-8.
