Julia Acevedo (Florham Park, NJ) used some PR’s to take podium in the jumps and hurdles, gathering a crucial number of points to keep Susquehanna comfortably ahead all weekend to lock up their first-ever Landmark outdoor championship. On Saturday she opened in the long jump, taking seventh with a personal-best 5.20m behind teammates winner Remi Acord and second and fourth-place finishers Hannah Alderfer and Chloe Yoder. In Sunday’s jumps she placed fifth in the triple jump at 10.70m and tied for eighth in the high jump at 1.39m for a half point. She went on to set a PR in the 400-meter hurdles, placing sixth at 1:11.03. All told she racked up 9.5 of Susquehanna’s 63.5 points generated over those four events as the River Hawks collected 211.5 points for a 21.5-point margin of victory.
