Junior wide receiver Mitch Carsley had a 71-yard punt return for a touchdown with 2:57 remaining in the third quarter against Juniata. The punt return sparked the River Hawks on the way to a 24-6 win on Saturday afternoon.

Carsley added a 48-yard reception on the first offensive play of the day and several long yardage plays in the win.

He has anchored the Susquehanna offense and special teams this season, averaging over 17 yards per catch on the year.

The River Hawks will face Stevenson Saturday in the MAC Centennial Bowl at 1 p.m. at Amos Alonzo Stagg Field.

Carsley has earned the River Hawk of the week for his efforts.
