Crucial to the River Hawks' Landmark series sweep of Wilkes in their final homestand of the season, Mariella picked up a pair of saves in games two and three. He would enter in the 9th of each game and toss ideal 1-2-3 frames, sitting down the Colonels in order without allowing a baserunner, also striking out a batter on each day. The junior now has a team leading four saves as the squad will finish the regular season with a road nonconference bout at York (PA) while they await the final seeding for the Landmark Tournament.
