Junior Erin Reese placed second out of 33 runners in the 3000-meter run and qualified for regionals at the SU Challenge at the Garrett Fieldhouse on Saturday, Feb.2. 

Reese qualified for regionals with a time of 10:37.89. 

Along with Reese, Alexa Pietrini, Marissa Kleman and Kate Ross broke the school record in the 4x800 meter relay, placing first out of six teams. 

The relay team finished the race with a time of 10:09.92, breaking the school’s record by nearly three seconds.  

The River Hawk’s next meet will be Sunday, February 10th at Cornell in Ithaca N.Y at 10 A.M. 

Reese has earned the River Hawk of the week for his efforts.
