Senior Katie Willis had a strong performance at the Landmark Conference championships on Sunday, leading Susquehanna Women’s Swimming and Diving to their 9th consecutive Landmark Conference Championship.
Willis broke her own school record and the Landmark Conference record in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.72. This time also made the NCAA B Cut.
Katie broke the 200 freestyle school record twice on Saturday, first with a top time of 1:53.75 in the preliminaries that broke her own previous record of 1:53.96. Then in the finals she earned an individual gold metal and reset the record with a time of 1:52.52.
Willis also earned two more gold metals anchoring the 200 and 400 medley relays.
Katie Willis has earned the River Hawk of the week for her efforts.
