Junior Erin Reese ran one of her fastest times and finished first among all Division lll participants in the four kilometer race at the Bison Classic in Lewisburg. Reese finished with a time of 14:58.6, beating out 22 Division lll runners and over 50 Division I runners as well, finishing 44th out of 132 runners in a stacked field of competition.

The Bison Classic had ten teams participate: Bucknell, Penn, Loyola (Md.), Lehigh, American, Lafayette, Navy, Juniata, Lycoming and Susquehanna.

Coming off a strong sophomore season, Reese looks to lead her team to another successful season this fall. The River Hawks continue their season when they travel to Lebanon Valley for the Dutchman Invitation on Saturday.
