Sophomore Guard Erin McQuillen has been named this week’s River Hawk Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Women’s Basketball Susquehanna Trailways Tip-Off Tournament, averaging 14.0 points on efficient shooting, 6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2 steals in two games, earning MVP of the tournament.
In the River Hawk’s first game of the tournament against York, McQuillen went 5-11 from the field scoring 15 points in 24 minutes. She went 2-5 from behind the arc and went 3-3 at the charity stripe, her second game with 1.00 free throw percentage.
In the final against St. Elizabeth, McQuillen contributed 13 points in 26 minutes. She went 5-11 for field goals, including 3 three pointers on seven attempts. McQuillen also dished out four assists in the River Hawk’s win.
