Sassafras Multipurpose Field

Part of Sassafras Fields, which were completed prior to the 2004-05 academic year, the Sassafras Multi-Purpose Field sits next to the Sassafras Practice Field and is separated from the Sassafras Softball Field by a restroom-and-storage-space building.

The multi-purpose space, home to the SU men's and women's soccer, field hockey, and men's and women's lacrosse teams, boasts lights, a scoreboard, bleacher seating for 600 people, and a ProGrass playing surface. The scoreboard is dedicated to Dr. Neil H. Potter, a beloved chemistry professor for 30 years at Susquehanna and the men's soccer head coach from 1967-79, winning 62 wins in that span.
