TOWSON, Md. -- Susquehanna University's senior Alyssa
Kemmerer (Berwick, Pa./Berwick Area) recorded two saves to
earn her sixth shutout this season, as visiting Susquehanna (5-5-3,
2-1 Landmark) blanked Goucher College, 1-0, in a Landmark
Conference women's soccer game at Beldon Field on Oct. 10.
Kemmerer has tallied an impressive four straight
shutouts and is now tied for the Susquehanna single-season record
in that category. She has not allowed a goal in her last 401
minutes, 37 seconds.
SU's senior forward Abby Montgomery (Hughesville,
Pa./Hughesville) netted the Crusaders only goal in the
57th minute off a pass from freshman forward Gabrielle
Magenta (Sewell, N.J./Haddonfield Memorial).
Montgomery leads SU with four goals this
season.
SU did not allow a shot in the first half and outshot Goucher
(3-8-1, 0-3 Landmark), 21-3, for the game.
