Boxscore

SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's senior Alyssa Kemmerer (Berwick, Pa./Berwick Area) tallied a game-high 13 saves, including one on a penalty shot, but three first-half goals by the visitors from Penn State University-Altoona dropped Susquehanna (5-6-3 overall), 3-0, in a snowy and cold non-conference women's soccer game at Sassafras Fields on Oct. 15.

Kemmerer allowed a goal just 6 minutes, 11 seconds into the game when a slippery ball went through her hands, snapping her scoreless-minutes streak at 407:48.

Susquehanna's junior midfielder Erinn Jenkins (Blakely, Pa./Valley View) and freshman midfielder Gabrielle Magenta (Sewell, N.J./Haddonfield Memorial) each registered a shot on goal.

PSU-Altoona (11-3-1 overall) controlled the majority of the game, outshooting SU, 26-4. The Lions also scored in the 31st and 45th minutes.

Next Game: Wednesday, Oct. 21, vs. Juniata (Landmark Conference game), 7 p.m.
