ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's sophomore setter
Shona St. Angelo (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport-South
Manor) dished out a match-high 28 assists to lead
Susquehanna over host Muhlenberg College (8-11 overall), 3-0, in a
non-conference women's volleyball match at Memorial Hall on Oct.
20.
St. Angelo also recorded 13 digs, three kills and
a block for the Crusaders (20-11 overall), as they defeated the
Mules, 25-23, 25-22, 25-23.
SU's junior outside hitter Lindsey Jankiewicz (Easton,
Pa./Freedom) posted a match-high 10 kills and tied
for the team-high with three blocks.
Crusaders senior co-captains and middle hitters Jess
Cicioni (Frackville, Pa./North Schuylkill) and
Madeline Hals (Morristown, N.J./Morristown) also
had three blocks each.
Susquehanna's defense was led by freshman libero Kelly
O'Brien (Mastic, N.Y./Eastport-South Manor), who had a
match-high 26 digs.
Freshman defensive specialist Dana Kreutzer (Flemington,
N.J./Hunterdon Central Regional) led SU with two service
aces.
