Gabrielle Magenta (Sewell, N.J./Haddonfield
Memorial) scored her first collegiate goal 2 minutes, 54
seconds into the game to lead Susquehanna (4-5-3 overall) over
visiting Pennsylvania College of Technology, 4-0, in a
non-conference women's soccer game at Sassafras Fields on Oct.

SU's junior forward Julie Briskey (Selinsgrove,
Pa./Selinsgrove Area) recorded the second goal for the
Crusaders off a steal from a throw-in in the 31st minute.
Susquehanna wrapped up its scoring in the first half when junior
midfielder Katie Brooks (Newton Square, Pa./Archmere
Academy) deflected in a pass from senior defender
Julie Yeagley (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley) off
a corner-kick from senior forward Tory Weiss (McLean,
Va./Langley).
The Crusaders' final goal came with under two minutes left to play
as sophomore midfielder Samantha Price (Minersville,
Pa./Minersville Area) beat the Wildcats goalkeeper on a
through ball from freshman defender Megan Stevens
(Pipersville, Pa./Palisades).
Senior goalkeeper Alyssa Kemmerer (Berwick, Pa./Berwick
Area) was not forced to make a save in all 90 minutes.
Kemmerer earned her third straight shutout and
fifth of the year. She has not allowed a goal in over 320
consecutive minutes of action. The five shutouts are tied for the
Landmark Conference lead.
SU did not allow a shot in the first half and outshot Penn College
(5-3-0 overall), 35-2, for the game. The Crusaders also held the
game's edge in corner kicks, 8-1.
