WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's junior
forward Hunter McKain (Ligonier, Pa./Shady Side
Academy) scored a team-high 18 points on 6-for-9 shooting
from the field and added six rebounds, but visiting Susquehanna
lost to Lycoming College, 88-77, in a non-conference men's
basketball game at Lamade Gymnasium on Nov. 29.
McKain also led Susquehanna (2-2 overall) with
four blocked shots.
Lycoming (5-0 overall) trailed the Crusaders for the first 2
minutes, 10 seconds of the game but regained the lead at 4-3 and
led for the remainder of the game, increasing its lead to 23 points
with 6:10 left in the first half.
SU's sophomore guard Spenser Spencer (Seattle,
Wash./Lakeside) chipped in 17 points and led the Crusaders
with three three-point field goals and a team-high-tying two
steals. Teammate and junior guard Jason Dawson (Somerset,
N.J./Rutgers Prep) also recorded two steals.
Freshman forward Daryl Augustus (Baltimore, Md./Calvert
Hall College HS) dropped in 11 points and posted a
game-high seven boards, while senior guard Bryan Majors
(Harrisburg, Pa./Harrisburg) dished out a team-high five
assists to go along with eight points.
Warriors senior guard Eric Anthony (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling
Central Catholic) posted a game-high 23 points, including 3-for-4
shooting from three-point range, and handed out six assists.
Teammate and freshman guard Jerald Williams (Riverdale,
Md./Bladensburg) led all players with seven assists, while junior
forward Will Kelly (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Twp.) and sophomore
center Mike Bradley (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Joseph's Prep) each
grabbed a team-high five boards. Kelly also notched a game-high
three steals, and Bradley led the Warriors with two blocks.
