SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's freshman goalkeeper
Pat Horan (Sutton, Mass./Worcester Academy)
recorded his first collegiate win in a 1-0 shutout of visiting
Misericordia University in a non-conference men's soccer game at
Sassafras Fields on Sept. 15.
Horan made a career-high three saves for
Susquehanna (2-4-0 overall).
Junior forward Jim Robertiello (Chester, N.J./West Morris
Mendham) scored the lone goal of the game on a breakaway
in the 27th minute.
Misericordia (1-3-1 overall) outshot the Crusaders, 14-6, but
stellar defensive play forced the Cougars to attempt tough shots
all night. The Crusaders defense blocked three shots.
