WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- Visiting Susquehanna University fell, 7-0,
to unbeaten Wilkes University in a non-conference field hockey game
at Artillery Park on Sept. 22.
Wilkes (7-0 overall) scored three goals in the first half and
added four more against Susquehanna (2-6 overall) in the second.
SU earned seven penalty-corner situations but couldn't get a
shot past the Lady Colonels goalkeeper. Sophomore forward
Heather Moore (Columbus, N.J./Peddie) led the
Crusaders with three shots.
Crusaders sophomore Erin Ferguson (Mount Laurel,
N.J./Seneca) made a game-high seven saves in all 70
minutes.
