Susquehanna Women's Soccer Shut Out in Conference Opener, 3-0

SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's senior Alyssa Kemmerer (Berwick, Pa./Berwick Area) made a game-high eight saves, but host Susquehanna fell to Landmark Conference foe The Catholic University of America (9-0-0, 1-0-0 Landmark), 3-0, in a women's soccer game at Sassafras Fields on Sept. 26.

Susquehanna (2-5-2, 0-1-0 Landmark) played the Cardinals to a scoreless first half, but three goals in an 18-minute span put the game out of reach.

SU senior forward Abby Montgomery (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) took a team-high two shots on goal for the Crusaders.

The Crusaders defense made two team saves on the day.

Next Game: Wednesday, Sept. 30, vs. Wilkes (non-conference game), 7 p.m.
