Susquehanna Volleyball Loses Twice at Haverford Invitational

HAVERFORD, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's sophomore setter Shona St. Angelo (Manorville, N.Y./Eastport-South Manor) totaled 32 assists in losses to nationally ranked No. 24 Haverford College, 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 26-24), and Frostburg State University, 3-1 (25-17, 21-25, 25-21, 25-18), at Haverford on Sept. 5.

Junior outside hitter Lindsey Jankiewicz (Easton, Pa./Freedom) led the Crusaders (0-5 overall) on the day with two service aces and 19 kills, while senior middle hitter Madeline Hals (Morristown, N.J./Morristown) recorded seven blocks.

Susquehanna's defense was led by freshman defensive specialist Kelly O'Brien (Mastic, N.Y./Eastport-South Manor), who had 32 digs, including a match-high 21 against Haverford (5-0 overall).

Frostburg State is 4-1 overall.
