SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- Susquehanna University's senior forward
Marcus Burke (Hyde Park, Mass./Brimmer and May)
registered a team-high 16 points on 8-for-13 shooting from the
floor to lead host Susquehanna past Juniata College, 80-65, in a
Landmark Conference men's basketball game on Senior Night at
Orlando W. Houts Gymnasium on Feb. 20.

steals and a game-high-tying two blocked shots. He chipped in six
rebounds as well.
Susquehanna (15-10, 8-6 Landmark) never trailed Juniata (9-16,
4-10 Landmark) in the game. SU started the contest on a 16-6 run
over an 8-minute, 25-second span. Juniata was able to cut the lead
down to six points on multiple occasions but could never get any
closer than that for the the rest of the game. After SU's last
six-point lead, 26-20 with 5:36 to go in the half, the Crusaders
outscored Juniata, 13-6, to take a 39-26 advantage at the
break.
SU's freshman forward J.T. Wilson (Sparta, N.J./Pope John
XXIII Regional) pulled down a game-high nine rebounds and
chipped in six points. Teammate and senior guard Bryan

three assists and made all four of his free-throw attempts.

off the bench.
Crusaders sophomore guard Spenser Spencer (Seattle,
Wash./Lakeside) tallied 15 points on six-of-10 shooting
from the field and made a game-high three three-pointers (on six
attempts). Junior guard Rob Estep (York, Pa./West
York) added 14 points off the bench.
Estep was 5-for-9 from the floor and was perfect
from the line (4-for-4).
The second half was more of the same, as SU never led by less than
10 points. Majors made two free throws with 17:53
left in the game to give Susquehanna a 47-28 lead. Juniata fought
back to bring the game back to within 10 points, 53-43, with 12:18
remaining, but the Crusaders pushed the game back out to a 19-point
difference, 64-45, just 3:22 later.
SU notched its biggest lead of the contest, 72-52, with 6:36 to
go. The deficit was too much for the Eagles to overcome, as they
could only bring the game to within 13 points three different times
after that.
Juniata was led by sophomore guard Dan Sekulski (Douglassville,
Pa./Daniel Boone), who came off the bench to score a game-high 19
points. Teammate and senior guard Jeff Berkey (Stoystown,
Pa./Shanksville-Stonycreek) led all players with four assists and
grabbed a team-high seven boards to go along with 13 points.
Sophomore forward Matt Regan (Downingtown, Pa./Devon Prep)
recorded two steals and two blocked shots, while sophomore center
Austin Ankney (Somerset, Pa./Somerset) chipped in 13 points and six
rebounds.
Susquehanna made 14 of its 18 attempts for the free-throw line,
thanks in part to no misses by five players.
