SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- The Susquehanna University men's tennis team
lost a Landmark Conference match against the visitors from The
University of Scranton, 6-3, at the James W. Garrett Sports Complex
on April 17.
Freshman Richard Fitzsimmons (Brielle, N.J./Lommis Chaffee,
Conn.) won a third-flight singles match for Susquehanna
(7-5, 2-2 Landmark), 4-6, 6-4, 11-9, over his Scranton (11-4, 3-1
Landmark) opponent.
Teammate and sophomore Alec Green (Media, Pa./Strath
Haven) picked up another three-sets win from fifth-flight
singles, 3-6, 6-0, 10-8.
Teammate and junior Bruce Osborn (Sayre, Pa./Sayre
Area) ran his record to 9-1 this season with a
straight-sets victory from the sixth flight, 6-1, 6-1.
