Game Two Box Score

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna's softball team swept Thursday's non-conference doubleheader with Wilkes by winning game one 3-2 on a walk-off double and game two 12-2 in five innings.

The Crusaders (15-8) won the first contest as junior shortstop Larissa Luu (Montandon, Pa. / Milton) drove home all three runs, including game-winning two run double.

The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fifth inning when Lauren Gilbert (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) singled up the middle and Luu drove her in with a base knock to go up 1-0.

The Colonels (5-15) went up in the top half of the seventh 2-1 after scoring on a wild pitch and sacrifice fly.

In the bottom of the seventh, Alyssa Cantalini (Kitchener, Ontario / St. David Catholic) reached on an error by the third basemen to start the rally for the Crusaders. L.Gilbert executed a bunt single that advanced pinch runner Courtney Miller (Kendall Park, N.J. / South Brunswick) to third. Two batters later, Luu cracked the walk-off hit.
