SU Honors Seniors Against Lebanon Valley

Box Score

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna's baseball team couldn't get anything going offensively on Wednesday afternoon and dropped a 5-0 non-conference contest to Lebanon Valley.

The team honored its three senior members, infielder Calvin Hug (West Chester, Pa. / Unionville), pitcher Matt Lottes (Muttontown, N.Y. / Long Island Lutheran) and outfielder Ethan Rieker (Lancaster, Pa. / Manheim Twp.) in a pre-game ceremony.

Lottes pitched well in defeat, going all nine innings while scattering 10 hits and allowing two earned runs.  He gave up two first inning runs but settled down nicely, shutting down the Flying Dutchmen until the fifth frame.

The Crusaders (14-22) only managed six hits off of Lebanon Valley (24-15).

The Crusaders head to Juniata for the final Landmark Conference series of the year starting Saturday, April 28 at 1:00 p.m. with a doubleheader.
