ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Susquehanna men's tennis team opened up its 2012 fall season with a 7-2 loss at Lebanon Valley on Saturday afternoon.
The Crusaders (0-1) were swept in doubles action by the Flying Dutchmen although Garrett Lynn (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) and Ian Endresen (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore Area) did force an 8-6 decision.
SU was able to pick up two singles wins. Mats Haaland (Brunswick, Maine/Brunswick) won at second singles 6-3, 7-5 and Kevin Schneider (Ridge, N.Y./Longwood) captured a victory at sixth singles over his Lebanon Valley counterpart.
The Crusaders return home on Sept. 19 to host Elmira at 3:30 p.m.
