SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Playing on Homecoming Weekend, Susquehanna's women's tennis team blanked Lycoming 9-0 at the James W. Garrett Sports Complex.

The Crusaders (3-0) were led by sophomore Shelby O'Riley (Ware, Mass. / Quabbin Regional) who won 6-0, 6-0 at number one singles and with partner Abby Hess (Hughesville, Pa. / Hughesville) 8-1 at number one doubles. Hess defeated her opponent at the second singles position 6-1, 6-2.

SU also picked up a doubles win as the tandem of Jessica Lage (Franklin Lakes, N.J. / Immaculate Heart Academy) and Allison Lobell (Harrisburg, Pa. / Lower Dauphin) beat their opponent 8-0.

Brielle Ferlauto (Neshanic Station, N.J. / Somerville) won at number three singles 6-2, 6-0. Ellen Pulsinelle (Lyndhurst, N.J. / Immaculate Conception), Claire Smyth (Lewisburg, Pa. / Lewisburg Area) and Olivia Umpierre (Cumberland, Md. / Allegany) all won by the mark of 6-0, 6-0 in their singles matches.

SU hits the courts on Saturday, Oct. 6 at St. Mary's (Md.) at 1:00 p.m.
