GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Susquehanna women's soccer team suffered a 4-0 road loss at Gettysburg on Wednesday afternoon. The Bullets (7-1-2) used two first-half goals and two second-half goals to come away with the win over SU (1-8-1).

Gettysburg's defense limited the Crusaders to just two shots in the game, one from Hannah Jones (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area/Bucknell) and the other from Jessica Takats (West Islip, N.Y./St. Anthony's). Starting goalie Rachel Norbuts (Monroeville, N.J./Woodstown) played the first half and finished with three saves while freshman Jordyn Slocum (Eagleville, Pa./Methacton) played the final 45 minutes and tallied five stops.

Gettysburg opened the scoring on a goal 12 minutes into the game on a header and with less than three minutes to play in the half, Lauren Schapiro made it a 2-0 Bullets lead with a shot from 35 yards out that found the back of the net.

The Crusaders kept it a 2-0 game until the 78th minute of the game when they fell behind 3-0 and Hannah Theurer netted the Bullets' fourth goal just four minutes later for a 4-0 contest, which remained the final score as time expired.

Susquehanna returns to action on Saturday with a 1 p.m. game at Landmark Conference opponent Drew.
