Box Score SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Men's and women's lacrosse
are represented as this week's Pepsi/SAAC Super Crusaders as
junior midfielder Emma Ehler (Chatham, N.J. /
Chatham) and freshman attack Connor
Moran (Delafield, Wisc. / Kettle Moraine) have been
selected for the period ending March 10.
After helping Susquehanna to a national ranking and
an undefeated start to 2013,
Ehler was also chosen as the Landmark Conference
Player of the Week for the second time in her career.
Starting in all five games thus far this season, she currently
leads the team in goals (24), shots (48) and shots on goal (35).
Ehler has three game-winning goals, seven ground balls, 10 draw
controls and has caused five turnovers.
In the final three games on the West Coast, Ehler
led the team in goals with five each game. She had a total of 28
shots in those games with a SOG percentage of 78.6%. Ehler leads
the Landmark in goals per game (4.8), game winning goals (3) and
shots per game (9.6).
Ehler and the Crusaders host Lebanon Valley for their home
opener today at 4 p.m.
Following his performance during Susquehanna's men's
lacrosse undefeated week, Moran was also selected
as the Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Moran scored eight goals last week as the Crusaders (4-2)
defeated Hood, Shenandoah and Randolph. Against Hood (W, 7-2),
Moran had a man-up goal on eight shots and two assists. In
SU's 15-6 win over Shenandoah, Moran tallied two scores on
five shots and added two helpers and three ground balls.
At Randolph (W, 18-10), Moran fired in a game-high five goals on
14 shots and chipped in two assists and five ground balls.
In 2013, Moran leads SU with 12 goals and 22 points on 47 shots.
He is tied for the team lead with 10 assists. Moran is also tied
for first in the Landmark in game-winning goals (2), is second in
shots per game (7.83) and is tied for second in assists per game
(1.67).
Moran and the Crusaders travel to Franklin & Marshall today
at 3 p.m.
