MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Susquehanna men's tennis team
concluded its spring break in Myrtle Beach, S.C. with an even 2-2
record.
SU picked up a wins against Regis (recap here) and
Misericordia (8-1) but fell to John Carroll (9-0) and Wittenberg
(9-0).
The Crusaders failed to win a set against John Carroll and
Wittenberg but rebounded to end their trip on a high note with an
8-1 victory vs. Misericordia. In that win, SU won all but one
singles match including Jeremy Neville's (Wellesley,
Mass./Wellesley) 6-0, 6-1 win at second doubles.
Susquehanna swept all three doubles matches by scores of 8-2, 8-1
and 9-7.
The Crusaders open their home spring season on March 16 with a 1
p.m. conference match against Drew.
