SELINSGROVE, Pa. – In a match that was suspended earlier this week due to weather conditions, the Susquehanna women's tennis team resumed play on Sunday afternoon but the Crusaders (10-4, 1-4) fell to visiting Juniata (13-4, 3-2) 6-3.

Doubles play, which was concluded on Wednesday, went to Juniata which won two of the three matches. Ellen Pulsinelle (Lundhurst, N.J./Immaculate Conception) and Jessica Lage (Franklin Lakes, N.J./Immaculate Heart Academy) accounted for the one doubles victory for SU with a 9-8 (7-5) win.

Shelby O'Riley (Ware, Mass./Quabbin Regional) picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win at first singles and Jessica Klinger (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) followed with a 7-6, 6-4 victory at third singles. However, those marked the lone singles victories for the Crusaders as the Eagles took four of the six singles matches to clinch the win.

Susquehanna concludes its regular season on April 20 with a 1 p.m. match at Landmark Conference opponent Goucher.
