SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna men's tennis team won its home finale against non-conference opponent Lycoming on Thursday afternoon after defeating the Warriors 8-1.

SU (5-11) won all but one singles match against Lycoming (1-7). At number two singles, Garrett Lynn (Glastonbury, Conn. / Glastonbury) won 6-0, 6-1. At the number three spot, Jeremy Neville (Wellesley, Mass. / Wellesley) was victorious 6-0, 6-3.

At number four, senior Mats Haaland (Brunswick, Maine / Brunswick) won his final match at the James W. Garrett Sports Complex 6-0, 6-1. Ian Endresen (Jersey Shore, Pa. /Jersey Shore Area) won at number five singles, 6-1, 3-6, 10-7. Rounding out the individual wins, Kevin Schneider (Ridge, N.Y. / Longwood) defeated his opponent 6-0, 6-1.

In doubles action, senior Michael Hickey (Yarmouth, Maine / Yarmouth) and Lynn won at number one 8-4. Haaland and Neville won at number two, 8-0. At number three, Schneider and Endresen were winners, 8-0.

The Crusaders close out the season at Goucher on Saturday at 1 p.m.
