Men's Tennis Ends Season on High Note

TOWSON, Md. – Susquehanna's men's tennis team ended the 2012-13 season on a high note, defeating Goucher 6-3 on Saturday afternoon.

In singles action, the Crusaders (6-11, 2-5) picked up four victories. Junior Jeremy Neville (Wellesley, Mass. / Wellesley) won at number three singles 6-0, 6-0. Senior Mats Haaland (Brunswick, Maine / Brunswick) won 6-1, 6-2 at number four singles.

Freshman Ian Endresen (Jersey Shore, Pa. / Jersey Shore Area) registered a win at number five singles 7-6 (7-3), 6-2. Senior Kevin Schneider (Ridge, N.Y. / Longwood) was victorious at number six, winning 6-1, 6-2.

Senior Michael Hickey (Yarmouth, Maine / Yarmouth) and sophomore Garrett Lynn (Glastonbury, Conn. / Glastonbury) won at number one doubles 9-8 (7-4) and Schneider and Endresen won at number three, 8-3.

SU ended the season with back-to-back wins over Lycoming and the Gophers.
