Women's Tennis Falls to Lebanon Valley

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna's women's tennis team fell to non-conference opponent Lebanon Valley 6-3 on Saturday afternoon in Selinsgrove.

The Crusaders (1-1) were victorious at number two doubles as Brielle Ferlauto (Neshanic Station, N.J. / Somerville) and Jessica Lage (Franklin Lakes, N. J. / Immaculate Heart Academy) won 8-6.

At number three doubles Christine Bender (Amityville, N.Y. / Long Island Lutheran) and Kelly Furlong (Cazenovia, N.Y. / Cazenovia) also won 8-6. At number six singles, Furlong won 6-4, 6-3.

SU plays at Lycoming on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 4 p.m.
