Men's Tennis Drops Tough Match at Misericordia

DALLAS, Pa. – Despite winning four of six singles matches, Susquehanna's men's tennis squad dropped a close 5-4 decision at non-conference Misericordia on Wednesday.

The Crusaders (0-2) received wins at number one, two, four and five singles but were swept in doubles competition.

Senior Jeremy Neville (Wellesley, Mass. / Wellesley) won at the number one spot 6-2, 6-3. At number two, freshman Brandon Feldstein (Voorhees, N.J. / Eastern Regional) defeated his opponent 7-6 (7-3), 6-2.

At number four singles, senior Joseph Meyer (Manlius, N.Y. / Skaneateles) won 6-3, 6-0 and freshman Mitchell McMichael (Bel Air, Md. / Fallston) was victorious at number five, 6-0, 6-2.

SU is back in action on Sunday, Sept. 22, hosting King's (Pa.) at 12 p.m.
