HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Susquehanna women's tennis team
dropped a 9-0 decision at Landmark Conference opponent Juniata on
Tuesday afternoon.
SU (6-6, 1-2) lost its first two doubles matches by 1-8, 2-8
scores. Alyssa Fleischman (Madison, Conn./Daniel
Hand) and Kelly Furlong
(Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia) held strong at number three
doubles but ultimately fell 4-8.
In singles action, Shelby O'Riley (Ware,
Mass./Quabbin Regional) lost 5-7, 2-6 at first singles and
Brielle Ferlauto (Neshanic Station,
N.J./Somerville) dropped a 1-6, 6-0, 3-6 decision at
second singles. The Crusaders fell in straight sets at the three
through six singles spots.
Susquehanna returns to the court on April 12 with a 1 p.m. match
at Landmark Conference opponent Moravian.
