SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna women's tennis continued its 2014 fall season with a 6-3 victory over Misericordia on Saturday afternoon.

The Crusaders won their first two doubles matches of the day. Shelby O'Riley (Ware Mass./Quabbin Regional) and Brielle Ferlauto (Neshanic Station, N.J./Somerville) won 8-2 at first doubles before Claire Smyth (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) and Alyssa Fleischman (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand) teamed up for an 8-4 win at second doubles.

O'Riley went on to win 6-1, 6-1 at first singles and Ferlauto came up with a 6-0, 6-3 victory at the number two singles spot. Fleischman followed with a 6-3, 6-4 win and Linsey Sipple (Erie, Pa./General McLane) picked up the final win of the day, a 7-5, 6-1 victory at sixth singles.

SU remains at home to host Lycoming on Sept. 24 at 4 p.m.
