SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna women's soccer team ended its season on a high note as SU defeated Goucher on Senior Day. The Crusaders defeated the Gophers (8-7-3, 2-5-0) 2-1 in double overtime at home.

SU (9-7-2, 2-5-0) ended the season with the most wins in a single season since head coach Nick Hoover took over the program in 2012.

The Crusaders out-shot the Gophers 18-11 while taking six shots in the second half and four in the first and both overtimes. Susquehanna totaled four corner kicks to Goucher's one while tallying 10 shots on goals to seven for Goucher.

The first goal of the game came not even four minutes into the second half when SU's Grayclynn Juckes scored an unassisted goal into the right corner of the goal. Seven minutes later, at the 55:34 mark, the Gophers answered with a goal from Samantha Turner. Neither team would score the remainder of regulation.

In the first overtime, Susquehanna dominated on offense taking four shots to Goucher's zero with the last one coming at the 98:30 mark from a header by Chloe Eisenhuth.

The second overtime saw SU dominating once again on offense taking four shots to two. Emily Sullivan scored the winning goal at the 107:02 mark in the lower left corner of the goal from a pass from Juckes which drew the goalie out.

SU was led in shots by Juckes who totaled six, four of which were on goal. Sullivan took four shots while Eisenhuth followed closely with three. Goalie Jordyn Slocum faced seven shots on goal, saving six to earn the win.

At the beginning of the game the SU soccer team recognized their three seniors: Kelley McKenna, Caitlyn Cameron and Kelly Goodfellow.

The Crusaders ended the season with a 9-7-2 overall record and a 2-5 mark in Landmark Conference play.
