SCRANTON, Pa. – Both the Susquehanna men's and women's tennis teams fell at Scranton on Wednesday afternoon. The women dropped an 8-1 decision while the men lost 9-0.

For the women, the first doubles team of Shelby O'Riley and Alyssa Fleischman picked up the only win for SU in the form of an 8-5 win. SU lost 1-8, 3-8 in the remaining doubles matches.

Susquehanna then dropped all of its five singles matches.

On the men's side, the Crusaders were swept in both singles and doubles. The first doubles team of Ryan VanValin and Matthew Weller fell 8-2 but Susquehanna picked up only one more set in doubles, falling 0-8, 1-8.

Andrew Parrish and Robert Lloyd were only the Crusaders to win a set in singles action with both falling 1-6, 0-6 to their respective opponents.

The women host Elizabethtown on April 7 while the men and women return to action on April 11 with matches at Drew.
