SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna women's tennis team fell at home to Juniata 7-2 in a Landmark Conference match.

SU (7-4, 1-4) won both a singles and doubles match but could get past the Eagles (10-5, 4-2).

Alyssa Fleischman (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand) and Claire Smyth (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) picked up the lone doubles victory, winning 9-7 at number two doubles. The Crusaders' first and third doubles teams both fell by 8-4 scores.

At first singles, Shelby O'Riley (Ware, Mass./Quabbin Regional) was victorious in a 7-5, 6-1 decision. Unfortunately, SU dropped its remaining five singles matches.

The women return to action on April 18 with a 1 p.m. match at Moravian.
