READING, Pa. – The Susquehanna women's soccer team ended its weekend road trip with a 0-0 tie against the Lions of Albright College.

The Crusaders (2-1-2) out-shot the Lions (2-2-1) 15 to nine but neither team was able to capitalize. SU tallied four shots on goal and three corner kicks.

Four of SU's 15 shots came in overtime minutes while Albright only took one. The last chance for the Lions came early on in the second overtime from a shot by Karis Pennington but it was saved by Jordan Slocum (Eagleville, Pa./Methacton). SU's last chance to end the game came at 107:41 when Kate Cantrell (Whippany, N.J./Whippany Park) took the last shot of the game only to have it saved by Albright's Christine Allen. 

Goalie, Slocum totaled four saves on four shots on goal. The Crusaders were led in shots by Cantrell with four while Grayclynn Juckes (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) and Emily Sullivan (Ambler, Pa./Gwynedd Meray Academy) tallied three each.

The Crusaders return to action on Wednesday, September 16 at home against King's College. The game starts at 4:00 P.M.
