SCRANTON, Pa. – The Susquehanna women's soccer team dropped its Landmark Conference opener to the University of Scranton, falling 3-0.

The Crusaders (4-3-2, 0-1) held the Royals (6-2-1, 1-0) to only three shots in the scoreless first half. In the second half, Scranton out-shot the Crusaders 12-1.

SU's only shot came from Grayclynn Juckes (Bloomsburg, Pa. / Central Columbia) at 89:30 and was blocked. Goalie Jordyn Slocum (Eagleville, Pa. / Methacton) made eight saves on 11 shots on goal.

The Crusaders return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 30 when they host Hood at 4:00 p.m.
